Becky

Becky Cranfield is Pevonia’s Field Sales Support and Trainer. With a passion for skincare, training and educating all on the benefits of natural ingredients, let’s find out a more about Becky, and try and get some skincare tips…

Tell us a bit about yourself Becky?

I have always lived in Chester and this is where I trained to be a Beauty Therapist when I left school. I was introduced to Pevonia in the first spa I worked in - The Mill Hotel where I worked for almost 3 years, and fell in love with the brand because of the great results I got for my clients and my skin. Following the Mill Hotel, I moved to The Double Tree Hilton by Chester which had a new 12 treatment room spa with Pevonia as the main skincare brand. I made my way up to the Treatment Manager position and enjoyed the role for 2 years. Although I loved my job, I had always wanted to travel so decided to work on the cruise ships for a year, which was an amazing experience, and although I worked very hard, I had the best time and made friends for life. I also got to visit some wonderful places: Hawaii, Alaska, California, Bora Bora and Samoa to name a few.

When I came back to the UK, I was so lucky to get the position of Field Sales Support and Trainer with Pevonia, I love my job as I still get to travel whilst working with the best product line out there!

What’s your area of expertise?

I feel because of my experience with working with Pevonia in spas for a good few years, my area of expertise is retailing. I love getting to work with our accounts on Skin Scanning and Product Launch events as helping the clients get the best from their skincare is just brilliant. I also love training sessions with therapists to help improve their product knowledge and help them achieve their retail targets.

Do you have a personal beauty tip to share?

It sounds so simple, but exfoliation! I always ensure I exfoliate at least once a week on my face and body to ensure my skin always feels super soft. It also helps all other skincare products work so much better, as you clear the passageway into the skin.

What is your favourite Pevonia product?

This is very hard as I love so many of them… But I have would have to say the Soothing Propolis Concentrate, as it really helps to control my breakouts. The Dry Body Oil is another one, as I love how it gives my skin a nice glow and is so quick and easy to use.

Do you have a real beauty no-no or bug bear?

It’s frustrating when I speak to so many friends or clients that swear by a certain product, yet they are still unhappy with their skin. It is always a challenge to educate clients to stay away from products which are full of ingredients to avoid or have no benefit to the skin. However, I have noticed that the great thing with Pevonia is that once someone starts to use our products and finally see great changes in their skin, they are easily converted into a Pevonia client for life.

What goes on in your average day at Pevonia?

The great thing about my role in Pevonia is that every day is different. I spend some weeks training our Institute Course for new Pevonia therapists. Other days I will visit our accounts to do mini advanced training sessions, merchandising and assisting our accounts in any way I can. I also do regular promo events with our accounts such as Skin Scanning Sessions.

Desert Island Disc?

Has to be Beyonce. I have loved every song since her Destiny’s Child days.

Last meal?

Nachos followed by sizzling fajitas! I order this way too much when I’m out for dinner…

What is your favourite spot in the UK?

London! The buzz of the city is amazing.

Describe your perfect day?

Whether it’s with my family or friends, I love visiting anywhere new and staying away for a night or two. I would then spend the day exploring a new city or walking anywhere with beautiful countryside. I always like to stay in a hotel which has a spa so I can spend a couple of hours relaxing in a thermal suite before finishing the day with a lovely meal.
