DEFINITION

Peptide extract isolated from mud which has been proven to decrease sebum production and accumulation by inhibiting melanocortin-5 receptors in sebaceous glands.

FUNCTION

Reduces sebum production, anti-ageing. Used in a number of anti-ageing products because of its ability to regenerate and protect the skin by retaining moisture and water, heal wounds, increase collagen and elastin production, and improve hydration.
