PEVONIA GIFTS AT THE MOBO AWARDS 2010
Pevonia Botanica was delighted to attend the fifteenth annual MOBO awards, held on 20th October 2010 at Liverpool’s Echo Arena. The Music of Black Origin (MOBO) awards celebrate excellence in urban music and honour prominent artists who have made outstanding contributions to the success of this genre.
Throughout the evening Pevonia Botanica mingled with a variety of influential, up and coming and established UK and international artists, including Jermaine Jackson, Billy Ocean and girl group The Saturdays, gifting them with exclusive goody bags containing essentials from Pevonia’s extensive homecare lines.
Rochelle from The Saturdays declared that she is already an avid fan of Pevonia’s Ligne Tropicale, calling the products “lovely” and the fragrances “amazing”. She went on to say that she is excited to try Pevonia’s travel kits and plans to take them with her when she travels the world with The Saturdays.
Jermaine Jackson was similarly impressed by the 100% natural Pevonia products and was delighted to receive a selection of Pevonia’s travel kits, remarking that he “can’t wait to try them.”
The 2010 MOBO awards were a show-stopping extravaganza of music, entertainment and talent, with spectacular performances from Jay Sean, Mark Ronson, N-Dubz and host Alesha Dixon. Breathtaking style on the red carpet almost stole the show before it had even begun and then of course there were the elated winners themselves, among them Tinie Tempah for Best Newcomer, Professor Green as Best UK Hip Hop/Grime Act, Eminem for Best International Act, JLS for both Best UK Act and Best Album and Billy Ocean with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
As the awards drew to a close Daniela Chandler, Pevonia’s Director of Skincare, commented that “it had been a fabulous and memorable night which Pevonia is proud to have been a part of.
